John Murray brings more than two decades of experience working in public policy, political, and leadership roles. Before joining the WCA, he served as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance, where he oversaw more than $160 million of state and federal grants in the areas of criminal justice, juvenile justice, violence against women, and homeland security. John has served as an advisor to several top legislative leaders, including former Speaker of the Assembly Mike Huebsch and former Senate Majority Leader Dale Schultz. He also worked as Chief of Staff for Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan and as the Director of the Office of State-Federal Relations for Wisconsin Governor Scott McCallum in Washington, D.C. He served as Mayor of the City of Sun Prairie from 2011-2014 and prior to that was a member of the Sun Prairie City Council. John has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from UW-Madison, lives in the Village of Windsor with his wife and two sons.

Andrea Murray rejoined WCA to take on a temporary role in Membership but has since refocused efforts into Education & Events. She’s happy to be back and will be working to keep WCA members happy, healthy and prosperous. As you may recall, Andrea has no relation to Executive Director John Murray. She lives on the West Side of Madison with her husband, two growing boys (one a senior at West High School, the other a Junior at Ripon College) and a mischievous Beagle. Andrea enjoys drawing, painting and crafting in her spare time.

Tammy McKeown oversees the WCA Help Desk where she assist members with a wide variety of questions on topics such as billing and coding, insurance questions, Medicare, Worker’s Compensation & Personal Injury cases, Licensing, LicensE and more. Tammy has worked within the Chiropractic profession for over 20 years as a CT and Clinic Coordinator for both LSM and Zelm Chiropractic. As well as in billing/coding and admissions for Meriter Hospital and Meriter Medical group located in Madison. She also worked in Hospice Admissions and Care Connections for Agrace Hospice in Madison/Fitchburg. She enjoys spending time with her son, especially attending his sporting events and anything outdoors including hiking and boating. She resides in her hometown of McFarland with her son Colin, Finance Brandon and her Shih Tzu, Rosey. Tammy has her Associates Degree from Madison College and has been a C.T. since 1997, which she attended CT courses at Palmer College and the WCA.

Leah Knope, a Madison native, joined WCA in 2019. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and over 20 years of association management experience working in Information Technology, Vendor Management, Accounting, Member Services, Publications, and Event Planning. Leah’s business focus is meeting and exceeding the needs of her internal and external customers.

Zach Kasun oversees membership recruitment and retention programs.  Zach has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and currently resides in Cottage Grove, WI with his dog, Tucker. Zach enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, summer car shows, and weekly game nights.
